The 420-hour Pre-School and Day Care Facilitator Programme:

The 420-hour Pre-School and Day Care Facilitator Programme is designed to prepare learners for careers in Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) by combining foundational knowledge with practical, industry-relevant training. The programme focuses on developing the competencies required to support the overall growth, learning, and well-being of children aged 3–6 years in early childhood settings.
Learners gain practical expertise in child development, health and safety, inclusive education, classroom organisation, activity planning, learner observation and assessment, documentation, and family engagement. The curriculum also emphasises essential professional skills, including communication, digital literacy, workplace ethics, and career readiness, enabling graduates to perform confidently in modern preschool and day care environments.
Upon completion, learners are well prepared to pursue employment and apprenticeship opportunities in the ECCE sector. The programme is offered by Asian College of Teachers (ACT) in collaboration with a Dubai-based KHDA-approved training centre.

RPL – Pre-School and Day Care Facilitator Programme:

The Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) – Pre-School and Day Care Facilitator Programme is tailored for experienced professionals in Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) who wish to gain formal recognition for their existing knowledge and workplace experience. It provides an opportunity to validate professional competencies while strengthening skills that support long-term career growth.
The programme consists of 90 hours of learning, including 50 hours of practical training and 40 hours of theory, covering key areas such as child development, health and safety, age-appropriate learning, inclusive practices, learner observation and assessment, and effective family engagement. It also enhances essential professional competencies, including communication, digital literacy, workplace ethics, and career readiness.
Designed to recognise experience while promoting continuous professional development, the RPL pathway helps participants improve their employability and advance within the ECCE sector. Graduates are well positioned for opportunities in preschools, day care centres, nursery schools, and other early childhood education settings. Asian College of Teachers (ACT) offers this programme in collaboration with a Dubai-based KHDA-approved training centre.

Eligibility

420-hour Pre-School and Day Care Facilitator Programme

    Applicants must fulfil any one of the following eligibility criteria:
  • Successfully completed Class 12 (or equivalent) with a minimum of 6 months of relevant work experience, or
  • Hold an NSQF Level 3.5 qualification along with at least 1.5 years of relevant work experience, or
  • Hold an NSQF Level 3 qualification with a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.

RPL – Pre-School and Day Care Facilitator Programme

    Applicants must meet the following eligibility criterion:
  • Successfully completed Class 12 (or equivalent) and possess a minimum of 12 months of relevant work experience in an early childhood education or childcare setting.
